Great pulled pork sandwich. Box of fresh cut and hot fries with enuff leftovers for dinner. So cool to have a place like this in our town. Cant wait to try the brisket and pizza. No one else was open for Memorial Day and this place hit the spot on that day while we were hitting car cruises. Everyone was very friendly.

We stopped @Rt 66 BBQ because I wanted ribs for my birthday. The Ribs were delicious. The BBQ sauce was not to sweet, just right. Will also recomend the sweet potatoe casserole. A nice finish to a great meal.

The folks that run the place are very sweet natured. The pizza is Not bad, not my kind of style though either. Expensive. Easy to miss. They are 2 foodtrucks/trailers that are edge to edge in between a diner and a place that sells or rents quads and dirtbikes

Who doesn't love good barbecue. Enjoy the place when I first went there. Would recommend for others out there

10/02/2023Don't waste your time. I went there on a Friday in Sept. at lunch time and they were closed. (Maybe they're out of business).

9/29/2023Good barbecue. Worth stopping in for the barbecue. Wasn't very impressed with the pizza, but could see how it might be good if you ordered and ate it there. Pizza does have a fair amount of toppings on it. My experience is that the people and staff are friendly but keep an eye on your food order when it comes up. Have had issues with the order sitting there without them telling you it's ready.

8/15/2023Wow awesome food. I'm back in the Steel City visiting family at the same time getting relief from the foot off the ground with the Sun of Phoenix Arizona. Had the extra large pizza with mushrooms and Italian sausage. Mom's usual is the salmon. Wanted go back again today. OUTSTANDING

Excellent seasonal BBQ! I Fall into depression when they close and a Spring in my step when they open. Ok stupid jokes aside, the BBQ is on point, the owners are great, and the brisket pile up is spectacular. The wood fired pizza is also a solid option, although occasionally it needs a wee bit more time in the oven.

6/19/2022I have had wood fired pizza from at least 5 different restaurants. I would say - out of those five + restaurants, I have had roughly 20+ pizzas.
The magic mushroom (aka magic Mushroom) was the best pizza for me by far. It is stone baked. L
I have to say, this pizza isn't the best.
The prep Seems rushed?
Not sure. But definitely I am not a fan.
Pizza Hut beats it - which is sad.
We purchased both ways - pick up from a call first and it didn't seem like a decent wood-fired pizza. Just seemed off, so about a month or so later, I figured we could try again, but I waited this time- not so fun in the heat.
and a wait and wait and wait while it was made.
Again- not the best, but different. Not sure - why?
It's the crust, sauce, etc. everything just seems as though there is no love...
Hope they change it!!!Benjie B.
7/06/2021This place is beyond words good , I am hooked on their white pizza its the perfect amount of cheese and garlic on a not too thin not too thick crust . Their small fries could easily feed a family of 4 ( not even lying HUGE portions) They have fresh potato chips perfectly seasoned ( yes i was wolfing them down still warm ) . Their ribs literally fall off the bone I was licking my fingers hours later . Their prices are very affordable and the owners are super friendly and easy going .

Amazing food! The ribs and smoked chicken were delicious as were the sides. I can't wait until they're open!

3/22/2020There pile-ups are to die for. I love the roast beef but there are other kinds to what it is well you have to go there and find out for yourself but just to let you know they are very good and so are there pizza.

10/22/2019Wow! This place is seriously awesome. We stopped here after hiking at a nearby trail. Everything from food to the service was an A+. I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it was HUGE. I was eating hunks of meat off the sandwich with a fork. My husband got the slider sampler with chicken, pork, and brisket. The meat was the perfect combination of juicy and smokey. The basket of fries we got was more like a bucket! Huge portion and so good. You can tell the fries are fresh.
A great meal with friendly service for $20. You can't beat it! The staff were all very welcoming and down to earth. The seating area is also pretty cool. It's underneath an old gas station canopy and the old pumps are there. They have picnic tables with umbrellas for plenty of shade. If this place is open and you haven't stopped before, you're going to want to pull over and check out this stand!Amanda H.
7/28/2019First visit after hearing great things BUT I did not think much of food. Got smoked chicken sandwich , chicken was overcooked and dry and bland. Bbq sauce was good and bun was nice and fresh. Small order of fries is huge but they put so much salt on fries you could melt snow and ice with them and I threw them away. Very friendly, may try again but no chicken and NO salt on fries.

8/04/2018Awesome BBQ and service. Couldn't ask for nicer people even when they are swamped. They always make a point to make sure you're taken care of.

7/15/2018This place will never leave you disappointed. It's an all around 10: huge portions, reasonably priced, delicious food, and incredibly friendly owners.
They have everything from brisket/pork/chicken sandwiches to combos with a side and a drink, ribs, whole chicken, and pizza etc etc everything BBQ you could ever want. Everything on the menu is incredible....it all has an unmistakable smokey flavor. Can't say enough how GOOD their food is and HOW MUCH you get!
Definitely an awesome place to stop for a meal but with limited seating, take out is probably a better option. Obviously for a food truck in western pa, it's closed for the cold months...and it's a sad few BBQ-less months until it's open again!!Mackenzie W.
8/15/2017Let me say that the only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 star review was for the seating, or rather the lack of. Only 3 tables made it impossible to stay there and eat. EVERYTHING ELSE IS A 5! We smelt the food on our way through town earlier in the day and changed our route home to try the food. And it was so worth it! My husband ordered the 1/2 barbecue chicken and I had the pulled pork. I added a small wood fired pepperoni pizza, we are always looking for a good local pizza. Holy heck was it good! Everything is good. ...really good! Great smoky flavor, tender and delicious chicken and moist pork, with very good barbecue sauce, your way, on it or on the side. The fries, enormous amount of very good ones! We are already planning our next visit...definitely take out! But no worries, it's well worth the trip!

Best ribs around. Gourmet slow smoked meat and fish paired with amazing side dishes. Their season is too short. I'd be a customer year-round, but I get what I can during warm weather.
Stop early, they often sell-out!!Mark B.
9/29/2016Yummy in our tummy! This is a walk up food truck in Apollo next to Creekside Diner and Nasers. They accept cash and credit. Super friendly people and there are a couple of picnic tables set up to eat there.
We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches: they were enough for about 4 people! Warning: the large fry ($5) was huge and could easily feed 4-5 people! Good sauce too! Highly recommended! Can't wait to try their other items!Nik F.
6/05/2016Owners are very friendly! They make everything themselves, even the buns, which were awesome! Great smokey flavor and homemade bbq sauces, the brisket was delicious and moist, and the pulled pork was equally tasty! Their praline sweet potato casserole was too good to be a side dish, it was dessert!

5/22/2016This is a FOOD Truck that opens up in April depending on the weather. Just opened April 8th. 11AM to 7PM .. Thursday through Sunday.
It is in the parking lot of Four Brothers Supply) on the corner of Route 66 & Route 819 in Apollo.
